They have grown a reputation for developing innovative but practical designs, with ambitious use of materials. They are currently looking for a creative kitchen designer to initially work out of their West London showroom, but able to travel around London when needing to see clients.

Person / Experience Required:

  • 3+ years' experience within a high-end / bespoke kitchen or furniture company
  • Creative, passionate about fabrics, colours and interiors
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal - fluent English is essential
  • Able to build relationships with clients
  • AutoCAD or AutoKitchen proficiency, in both 2D and 3D
  • Microsoft Office including Excel

This design led bespoke interior design and build company creates award-winning kitchens, freestanding furniture and luxury residential refurbishments. Their client base is mostly in London and on high-end prime properties.

A new role has arisen out of their growing business, particularly on residential refurbishments and integrating their different divisions under "one roof". This role is for a senior interior designer / manager who can take an overview of all the design work being undertaken in-house throughout the company spanning kitchens, bathrooms, joinery and interior design. This will be to guide and advise, ensuring all the work meets their design standards and fits in with the profile of the company. In other words, managing the "brand".

Person / Experience Required:

  • At least 6 years' interior design experience to include residential properties in the London marketplace
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, fluent in English
  • Degree in Interior Design or similar
  • Intuitiveness and the ability to look at the broader picture
  • An ideas person, who can help drive the business forward

Person / Experience Required:

  • The successful candidate will be degree qualified with at least 2 years' product design engineering experience, lighting design would be an advantage
  • You will need a thorough understanding of product development and engineering and a good knowledge of a variety of manufacturing processes
  • You must have experience of SolidWorks or other similar CAD software

They have a small team of creative designers who work with architects, contractors and suppliers to design, decorate and refurbish residential and commercial properties. They are currently looking to recruit an Interior Designer (V03060) to work with the senior design team to conceptualise, design and deliver sophisticated interiors.

You will be involved in creative design projects, as part of a flexible team or independently, translating design concepts into detailed working drawings and supporting documentation. You’ll need to effectively communicate detail design in CAD, presentation and written formats, liaise with consultants, contractors, suppliers and project teams and accompany senior design team members to presentations with clients.

As a skilled interior designer (with a degree in furniture, product or interior design) and 3-5 years’ of experience, creative flair, excellent technical skills, attention to detail and the ability to see a project through from conception to implementation you will also need to be highly proficient in AutoCAD, Photoshop, 3D CAD (preferably Sketchup) and Excel with good hand drawing skills an advantage. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills and good knowledge of FF&E with the ability to manage budgets and projects, understand the design process.

From initial concept through to installation, they offer the skills, experience, drive and client awareness required to complete any project to their customer requirements. Their comprehensive range of standard and bespoke designs include Solar Shading Systems Louvres, Walkways, Canopies and Balustrading.

They are currently seeking a Junior Project Designer to work on a variety of projects at any one time, which will include design carried out using AutoCAD / Inventor, some site surveys, procurement of materials and general project management to ensure each project is within budget and on time. This will evolve with further responsibilities taking their own project from initial brief to installation. Full product training will be given but an understanding of the construction industry would be preferred. This role would suit either a recent graduate or a 2nd jobber early on in their career with an enthusiastic personality, looking to grow their project management skills.

Person / Experience Required:

  • Graduate in Product Design  Industrial Design
  • Good AutoCAD skills, they also use Inventor so knowledge of this would be an advantage

They are experimental and innovative and are currently looking for a Project Manager for their fitted furniture division.

This role requires the person to manage multiple projects from the pricing stage through to completion. It involves a high level of organizational skills, the management and sourcing of external suppliers and a good eye for detail whilst demonstrating a strong level of commercial awareness.

Responsibilities include:

  • Review technical construction drawings and product specification
  • Breakdown of projects into components, produce costings/budgets and formulate project timelines
  • Take part in supplier selection, produce/coordinate tender packages for pricing, monitor and control progress and costs
  • Visit workshops and clients' properties to manage and review construction
  • Review internal work hours completed/profitability on projects and report back
  • Seek out new suppliers and review existing supplier performance

Person / Experience Required:

  • Site experience with ability to deal with main contractor and other trades on site
  • Microsoft Office including Word & Excel
  • AutoCAD (2D) would be preferable
  • The ability to learn to use and utilize for reporting purposes any new procurement & accounting software the company may acquire
  • Self-starting and proactive

Person / Experience Required:

The ideal candidate will:-

  • Hold a minimum 2:2 (or equivalent) in a relevant degree level.

  • Be a confident communicator (both verbally and via hand drawn sketches).
  • Have good listening skills.
  • Be able to manage their work load to achieve deadlines.
  • Hold a full EU driving licence.

Along with selling to individuals they partner with interior designers, architects and other retail companies to assist in creating unique lighting and furniture for their clients. Every piece is made to order and they offer a finishing and restoration service to the trade. The role will include creating new job briefs using the company software, responding to customer order enquiries, organizing shipping and deliveries, creating purchase orders, liaising with suppliers and assisting in management of daily flow of the workshop. This a 4 day week role for maternity cover approx. 4 months.
